Ronald A. Hoard, internationally known as Ronnie Diamond Hoard, began his musical career at the age of six in his grandfather’s church in Dayton, Ohio. After playing with various local bands and performing around the nation, Ronnie landed a position as lead singer and guitarist with the Grammy Award winning group, The Ohio Players. In 1996, Ronnie released his solo project “It Is Written”. This project was nominated for a Stellar Award. He has performed as a soloist with celebrated artist and groups such as Edwin Hawkins, the late Roger Troutman, The Mississippi Mass Choir, The Clouds of Joy, Jennifer Holiday and many, many more.

 

He has written, directed, and produced two plays. Over the past 18 years, Ronnie has served as pastor of Ephphatha New Ministries H.O.G., Inc. “The Church Where Your Gifts Make Room for You” in Columbus, Ohio. In 2010 he released his latest CD “Lift Him Up” under the WR record label which received a 5 star rating from the “Gospel Blog”. Apostle Hoard avails himself to various types of speaking engagements, including revivals, workshops, conferences, prison ministries, college concerts, and motivational speaking. He has appeared as a guest on the television talk show “I’m Just Sayin” and has served as a keynote speaker for colleges and military arenas.
